Il Kenya è un Paese di contrasti profondi dove, dietro paesaggi spettacolari e città in rapida crescita, si nasconde una realtà difficile e spesso invisibile: quella di centinaia di migliaia di bambini che lottano quotidianamente contro povertà, malnutrizione e un difficile accesso all’educazione.

Gli “street children” del Kenya

Il fenomeno degli Street Children è molto diffuso nelle grandi metropoli dei Paesi in via di sviluppo, soprattutto in Africa. In Kenya la situazione è particolarmente grave: sono 300.000 i bambini che vivono in strada, 150.000 nella sola capitale Nairobi.
